Qatar International Christian Ministries (QICM), a non-denominational and non-sectarian church, started almost 41 years ago by a group of expatriates from England, India and the Philippines. Apart from the purpose of gathering together to praise and worship our Almighty God in Spirit and in Truth, having fellowship with other believers was one of its main intentions. That is why the church had been named "International Christian Fellowship" or ICF. But God’s intentions were different from man’s intentions! The group grew in numbers because the Lord kept adding people. People who were lost, who wanted to experience God’s loving kindness, who were hungry and thirsty for His words and who were ripe and ready to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Personal Savior. As the years progressed the name was changed to Qatar International Christian Ministries (QICM), which is its name until today, because of the continual growth in church membership and church ministries.
